By giving myself a profession, designer, I think I have made the mistake of falling victim to my own press. This title now is who I am, not a facet of my personality, but my whole personality. Having attended a School of Art, and stepping into the industry, my world is surrounded by designers, and our spheres rarely step outside except to address family and social life. So, when I married a businessman with a technology background, the exposure to the other side of life was a little shocking.

Yes, I said it: artists and designers are insular, egotistic individuals and we need electric shock therapy now and then. And I mean more than the mandatory Current Affairs class you attend once a week in college. Open your mind, and I would recommend that you start here: Blue Chip.
